BEWARE of a sexual predator using the INSTAGRAM handle “UNRULY SOPHIA”<\/p>

Dear Editor,<\/p>\n

It is with a heavy heart I write admonishing our girls and boys to beware of an adult MALE sexual predator in Antigua\u00a0 and may be operating globally using the handle “Unruly Sofia” OR “Unruly Sophia” adding dots and using underscore in some portions of the name.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The individual pretends to be a very beautiful teenage girl living in the USA and in the case of girls, befriends them, then later encourages them to take selfies, sometimes nude or partially nude and later threatens to expose them if they don’t meet one of her MALE friends for SEXUAL encounters.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Many teenagers have fallen victim to “Unruly Sophia” and have become suicidal, depressed or constantly appearing to RUN AWAY from home but sadly, have had to fulfill “Unruly Sofia’s” SEXUAL demands.<\/p>\n

I am begging Parents to have a good, sound, confidential relationship with their children especially girls and allow them to feel free to speak to you should a sexual predator approach them.<\/p>

If your child has been a victim of unruly Sofia there is NOTHING to be ashamed of, please contact the CID Special Crimes Unit.<\/p>\n

TOGETHER, we can put a STOP to UNRULY SOPHIA\/SOFIA or ANYONE who may attempt to rob our children of enjoying their youth.<\/p>
