REAL NEWS: Youth on youth violence continues unabated, with an assault on two\u2028 teenagers being investigated by the Police.<\/p>

Reports say that a 19-year-old Nut Grove victim telephoned the \u2028Grays Farm Police Station and complained that, while walking to a\u2028village shop with his friend \u2013 a 17-year-old of the same address \u2013\u2028they were assaulted by two young men, one of whom was armed\u2028with what appeared to be a flare gun.<\/p>\n

One of the alleged offenders is said to be known by the name\u2028\u201cAnthony.\u201d While the victim does not know the other youth, he says\u2028he could identify him if he sees him again.<\/p>

The victims reportedly were walking past the trouble makers; but\u2028\u201cAnthony\u201d allegedly walked into the path of the complainant\u2019s friend\u2028and brushed against him.<\/p>

As a result,\u00a0the two began to argue, and then the 17-year-old walked\u2028away and went to the shop.<\/p>\n

However, while walking back home, they again met up with the two\u2028alleged aggressors, who had armed themselves with stones and\u2028 were coming towards the pair of friends.<\/p>

At that time, reportedly, the 17-year-old also armed himself with a\u2028stone, while \u201cAnthony\u201d pulled an object \u2013 believed to be a flare gun \u2013\u2028from his pants waist and pointed it in their direction.<\/p>\n

Immediately after, the victim said, he heard a loud explosion, and\u2028the two perpetrators ran in an eastern direction.\u00a0\u2028This offence reportedly occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on June 21 at\u2028Nut Grove.<\/p>
