As of 200 PM AST, the storm’s center was located at latitude 13.4 North and longitude 58.9 West, approximately 45 miles east-northeast of Barbados and 140 miles east-southeast of St. Lucia.<\/p>\n

It is moving west at 14 mph with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph.<\/p>

The government of Barbados has upgraded the Tropical Storm Watch to a Tropical Storm Warning for the island.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

A Hurricane Watch is in effect for St. Lucia, while Dominica, St. Lucia, Martinique, Barbados, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines are under a Tropical Storm Warning.<\/p>\n

Residents in the Lesser Antilles are advised to closely monitor the progress of Bret.<\/p>
