The 3rd Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students was recently held at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>

Bringing together 11 talented students from three institutions, the event symbolized the strong diplomatic ties between China and Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n

Distinguished speakers, including Ambassador Zhang Yanling and Mrs Listine Bradshaw, highlighted the progress made in the competition and the importance of learning Mandarin for cultural exchange.<\/p>

The contestants showcased their linguistic abilities through speeches, dance, music, and art, impressing the judges.<\/p>

The audience actively participated in calligraphy writing and a game of charades, fostering interest in Chinese language and culture. Mrs Diamond Joseph expressed appreciation for the contestants’ hard work.<\/p>\n

The immersive experience left a lasting impression, inspiring Antigua and Barbuda’s youth and promoting cultural exchange.<\/p>
