until Thursday morning due to wind patterns pushing smoke south from over 150 forest fires in Quebec \u2014 110 of which have been deemed out of control.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnhealthy\u201d air and smoky conditions are expected to linger over the five boroughs until Sunday, as\u00a0Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday urged New Yorkers\u00a0with heart or breathing issues to \u201climit \u2026 outdoor activities to the absolute necessities.\u201d<\/p><div id=\"antig-1853297427\" class=\"antig-content_4 antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/discoverflow.co\/web\/antigua\" aria-label=\"ANU CVP That\u2019s why we\u2019re seeing so much smoke.
