Police in Trinidad have charged a woman who allegedly robbed her employer.<\/p>

The woman, 28, of Pointe-a-Pierre Road, Vistabella, worked at Persad\u2019s Superstore, Marabella.<\/p>\n

The theft was captured on the company\u2019s CCTV cameras and reviewed by the store manager, who had been told the employee was stealing from the business.<\/p>

The footage for May 21 and 22, was reviewed, in which the employee reportedly cashed groceries, but no groceries were on the counter.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

It also showed her, on two other occasions, taking money from the cash tray totalling $471.76.<\/p>\n

Police were called and Insp Donawa and officers from the Marabella station investigated, which led to the arrest of the employee on Wednesday.<\/p>

She is due to appear before a San Fernando magistrate on larceny charges.<\/p>\n
