Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation, has warned that the world should brace itself for a virus that could be even deadlier than Covid-19. He emphasised the importance of prioritising negotiations aimed at preventing future pandemics during his speech at the annual health assembly in Geneva. Despite the WHO’s declaration that Covid-19 is no longer a public health emergency, Dr Tedros warned that the pandemic is far from over.<\/p>
