The event offered an opportunity for investors, financiers and representatives from hotels, resorts, trade associations and destinations to network and learn more about the outlook for the region\u2019s travel and tourism industry, which from all indications is bright.<\/p>

During the meeting,\u00a0Nick and Karolin Troubetzkoy\u00a0of Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain resorts in St. Lucia were named\u00a0Lifetime Achievement Award\u00a0winners, while\u00a0Julianna Musgrove, Regional Learning and Development Manager of Sandals Resorts International, took home the Caribbean \u201cRising Star\u201d award.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Deal of the Year awards\u00a0in Development and Transaction categories, went to\u00a0Rock House\u00a0in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, and\u00a0Dorado Beach, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve\u00a0in Dorado, Puerto Rico, respectively.<\/p>
