the cruise sector as recent previous seasons have been inactive because of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p><div id=\"antig-4060182167\" class=\"antig-content antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ReggaeInTheParkAntigua\" aria-label=\"lucanio\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:864\/h:1080\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/lucanio.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1350\"   \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>However, Heritage Quay was vibrant with visitors, taxi drivers, and vendors on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Taxi driver Alwyn Daniel said, \u201cToday is a good day for the taxi drivers, the vendors, and everybody.\u201d Antigua Cruise Port\u2019s Leasing &amp; Marketing Officer Jessica Russell said, \u201cIt\u2019s great to have two vessels here even after our busiest period would have ended. With tourism being our main industry, we want to ensure that we get the most out of it and move beyond the limitations of what is expected during the summer season; so, we\u2019re glad to have Disney Magic and Norwegian Getaway here.\u201d<\/p><div id=\"antig-3370876714\" class=\"antig-content_2 antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.courts.com\/antigua\/\" aria-label=\"500X500 (1)\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:500\/h:500\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"  srcset=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:500\/h:500\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:300\/h:300\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:150\/h:150\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\"   \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Vernon \u201cGoldie\u201d Griffith, who plays the banjo in the quay, said he felt encouraged by the vessels berthing in St. John\u2019s. He also expressed excitement at cruise ships visiting during the summer as he stated, \u201cI understand that although the season is closed, we\u2019ll be having ships in June and July, so that\u2019s very good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another one of Disney Cruises\u2019 vessels, Disney Fantasy will make a call to the island on July 19.
