Police are currently investigating three burglaries that reportedly involved the theft of a motor jeep, electronics, and other items.<\/p>

One victim in Potters New Extension reported to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that her home had been burglarized and her blue Kia Sportage jeep, registration A7049, was stolen between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on May 10.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the jeep was later found abandoned in Potters and has been processed by the police for evidence.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

According to reports, the victim discovered the theft after her husband informed her that the jeep was not in the driveway where she had parked it the night before.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The intruder had gained entry to the house through the wooden door of a northern laundry room.<\/p>\n

Further investigations revealed that the burglar searched a southeastern bedroom and the living room, stealing two vehicle keys from the latter.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The perpetrator then searched a brown Hyundai Tucson jeep but did not take anything before driving away in the Kia Sportage.<\/p>\n

The stolen vehicle reportedly contained a black-and-red laptop bag with a Lenovo laptop and a black handbag with a multi-colored pouch containing various important documents, including four Antigua and Barbuda passports, two US passports, birth certificates, and identification cards belonging to members of the family.<\/p>

Meantime, On May 8th, a Lightfoot resident reported to the All Saints Police Station that her home was burglarized between 8:10 p.m. and 10 p.m.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The burglar used a hard object to break open a southern kitchen window, reached in, and unlocked it. After gaining entry, the intruder headed to a northwestern bedroom, ransacked it, and made off with a black Lenovo laptop worth $1,200.<\/p>\n

The perpetrator then fled through a western living room window. Despite police efforts, the stolen computer was not recovered.<\/p>\n

In another incident on May 10th, a Cassada Gardens man reported that an unknown person had broken into his house and stolen the keys to his silver Rav4 vehicle.<\/p>\n

The intruder gained entry by removing two panes of glass from a louvre window.<\/p>\n

The perpetrator then made their way to an eastern bedroom and took the keys to the jeep from a table.<\/p>\n

Although nothing was reported stolen from the vehicle, the burglar ransacked it. The homeowner was forced to replace the louvres for security purposes.<\/p>\n
