This week, two employees of the Central Board of Health have been charged by the police in relation to an alleged diesel theft operation.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Derrick Wade from Villa and Hubert Cortright Josiah from Paynters have been charged with Larceny and Unlawful Possession.<\/p>\n

They are accused of jointly stealing 40 gallons of diesel and have also been charged separately with unlawful possession.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

One of the accused allegedly had 43 gallons of diesel at his home while the other reportedly had 7 gallons.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Both individuals are expected to appear in court later this week.<\/p>\n

The police have stated that the matter is still under investigation.<\/p>

The diesel that was allegedly stolen was meant for use by the Vector Control Unit employees to spray stagnant water locations throughout the country in order to prevent mosquito breeding.<\/p>\n

The workers are said to have colluded to siphon the diesel which they collected each morning to carry out their duties.<\/p>
