State Funded Media is reporting that the police have arrested two employees of the Vector Control Unit in the Central Board of Health after they were allegedly caught stealing diesel.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The fuel was intended for use in spraying locations across the country with stagnant water, to curtail the breeding of mosquitoes.<\/p>\n

One of the employees was reportedly found with at least five gallons of diesel at his yard, while the other was also found with a quantity of the fuel at his home.<\/p>

It is reported that the workers colluded to siphon the diesel which they collected each morning to carry out their duties.<\/p>

Police are investigating reports that the diesel was being sold to a trucking operation.<\/p>\n

The authorities reportedly acted quickly when they were alerted to the racket.<\/p>
