Antigua & Barbuda has been unanimously elected as Chair of the Finance Committee of the World Customs Organization (WCO) for the period 2023-2025 beginning in June.<\/p>

The elections were held on the 5th of April 2023, The Comptroller of Customs Mr. Raju Boddu represented Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n

Mr. Boddu received overwhelming endorsement, Canada nominated, while support and commendations were received from United Kingdom, United States, China, Japan, Sweden, European Union, Germany, and Portugal.<\/p>

For the next two years Antigua & Barbuda will steer and provide stewardship to the financial management of the WCO.<\/p>
