Lions Doing Great Service!<\/p>

The Lions Club of Antigua has been giving great service to the community for decades.<\/p>\n

The quarterly visits to the Clarevue Mental hospital occur in December and March of each year.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

During these visits, the residents received hot lunches donated by the Lions Club and Christmas carols are sung to them during the Christmas.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Vision Screening is a signature service project to the community of Antigua.<\/p>\n

This event took place recently the end of March 2023 and primary school children had an opportunity to participate in vision screening and some received eye glasses donated by the Lions Club.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Hot meals are sponsored weekly by the Lions Club.\u00a0 It is an on-going service mainly to the senior citizens that are shut-ins and the visually impaired at the workshop.<\/p>\n

The hot meals are prepared at the Zion Church of God on North Street.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Appreciation is expressed to Lions Septimus Rhudd MJF, Lion Larry Defraitas, Lion Alan Hosam MJF and Lion Bobby Reis MJF for sponsoring hot meals for the month of March and April.<\/p>
