Avoiding these plastics, or limiting their use, can, however help cut down on pollution from the same. If possible, avoid plastics altogether or switch to reusable water bottles. Straws and cups made of biodegradable material are the way to go.<\/p>

As the ocean waters get warmer, beach coral reefs and marine life is affected, leading to a decline in marine populations. Reducing your carbon footprint<\/a> can help reduce, if not reverse, the effects of global warming. Some of the best ways to do this would be to upgrade to energy-efficient appliances, unplug devices that are not in use, and use public transport or cycle to work instead of driving.<\/p>\n
