The reigning Jumpy Monarch Ricardo Drue says Young Lyrics should have been included in the list of semifinalists for the 2018 party monarch competition.<\/p>

Young Lyrics performed both in the Groovy and Jumpy segments of the competition last week but failed to go past the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n

“This brother did not make it into the semifinals and I\u00a0going to stand here and say he needs to be in the semifinals,” Drue said while performing at LOL fete over the weekend.<\/p>

The monarch\u00a0added that the young singer “is the future of Antigua and Barbuda.”<\/p>

Drue has taken the Young Lyrics under his wings since last year when his protege’s\u00a0competition also ended at the quarter-final\u00a0stage.<\/p>\n
