This first ABFA College Combine is expected to host 70 of Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s top
\nsecondary school and amateur footballers. Boys and Girls will be given the opportunity to play in front of college scouts for a place in their programs. Being athletically gifted is not the only thing necessary to matriculate from high school to college\/university. Student athletes are expected to meet specific academic requirements. The requirements are listed below:<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u25cf All players must be 15-19 years of age.
\n\u25cf All players must be complete amateurs; never signed a professional contract or received
\nmonetary compensation for football.
\n\u25cf All players must have access to do the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the
\nAmerican College Testing (ACT). Those who have yet to and already taken the SAT
\nmust have a minimum score of 900. Please note this have been waive at some colleges
\nfor 2023.
\n\u25cf All players must have access to their OFFICIAL Transcript from their most recent or
\ncurrent school.<\/p>\n

The NCAA Academic Requirement for Divisions I and II are listed in the table below.

1 Credit: Additional science\/ language 1 Credit: Additional course of choice<\/p>

NCAA Div 3 requirements differ based on the school\u2019s academic standard. Student athletes are still expected to have done a standardized test and can prove that English is a spoken language.<\/p>\n

While at a Division 3 program students must be enrolled in at least 4 classes a semester totaling
\n12 credits.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

NJCAA\/ Junior College simply require that students be a high school\/ secondary school graduate
\nearning an approved certificate\/ diploma. Student athletes can also be eligible if they have
\ncompleted an equivalency test, like the GED.<\/p>\n
