Parents are demonstrating for security at the Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS).<\/p>

They have gathered outside the school’s gate following an scary incident at the school last week in which two masked men beached the compound, one carrying a cutlass and the other carrying what was described as possibly a golf club, both threatening students and staff.<\/p>\n

Parents said there was no security at the school.<\/p>

In Cabinet note last week, \u00a0the Minister of Education Daryl Matthew made statements a condemning their behavior in keeping with the position of the Cabinet.<\/p>

“Also, to reiterate the work in progress to equip our schools with IT surveillance to complement the physical presence of security. \u00a0These measures, as you are aware will be complemented with regular spot checks by law enforcement,” Prime Minister Gaston Browne added.<\/p>\n
