The staff of call center NCO FINANCIAL say they are concerned that no information about their severance is being provided to them.<\/p>

The close to 400 employees were told yesterday that the company could\u00a0be closing as soon as June 29, 2018.<\/p>\n

“We have not gotten any information about our severance. Pertaining to the amount that will be paid to workers employed there for years,” the staff wrote in an email.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

They also appear to be unclear as to the amounts they are owed as the company closes.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

“Were we entitled to a payoff? Where we lied to? Were we all fooled? Will our severance be lower than we expect it to be?” are some of the questions they’ve asked.<\/p>\n

“We need more details of this info by our managers,” they added.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The workers are not collectively unionized despite efforts to do so. However, some staff may be independently part of a union.<\/p>\n

Ezmore\u00a0Roberts of the Antigua Barbuda Workers Union is hoping that the company will provide severance and vacation owed to the employees.<\/p>
