Dear Editor,<\/p>

It is evident that election is around the corner. Billboards continue to be erected and the\u00a0 political talk shows on the radios are now blasting to their full optimum.\u00a0 Obviously, the political parties are doing their utmost best to win the hearts & minds of the electorates.<\/p>\n

The energy of UPP is presently high. The political party should be commended because with the limited resources that they have in store, clearly they are trying everything in the book to become victorious in this election.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/div>\n

Unfortunately, many things has gone against UPP.\u00a0 The candidates’ repertoire & the party’s poor performance during 2004 & 2014 has contributed to placing a nail in their own coffin for this upcoming election.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Because the UPP candidates\u00a0 are politically inexperienced and intellectually impaired, the majority of the citizenry do not have any confidence in the candidates that they can manage the affairs of the state.<\/p>\n

To add salt to a wound, it is percieved that the members of UPP,\u00a0\u00a0 function on a platform of disrespect, hate, bitterness, vile and anger. As a result, persons are fearful of UPP repeating the same mistake of focusing on the Labour party’s 28 years in office rather than taking care of the people’s business.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Sad to say, their dismal performance for the 10 years while in office formed a dark cloud in the minds of many and now,\u00a0 their sins have come back to haunt them.<\/p>\n

If “Raising our standard & raising it bodly is our national tagline ” then questions need to be asked<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

1. Why should UPP be voted into office, since\u00a0 they don’t respect the Prime Minister?<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

2. Why should UPP be voted into office, since they show no respect to the female politicians in the current ABLP administration ?<\/p>\n

3. Why should UPP be voted into office since\u00a0 POWA, a female arm of UPP, always keep silent whenever females in ABLP are\u00a0 verbally abused?<\/p>\n

4. Why should UPP be voted into office since they closely align themselves with a\u00a0 NIGHT OWL & a SOCIAL MEDIA JUNKY who spews profanity, venom & hate and behave out of character on a particular radio station & social media platform?<\/p>\n

5. Why should UPP be voted into office since one of their former parliamentarian shows no reverence in parliament by sticking up their middle finger to advocate profanity?<\/p>\n

6. Why should UPP be voted into office since one of their hierarchy was under an halucination asking for a gun licence to go around & kill?<\/p>\n

7. Why should UPP be voted into office since a former leader in their organization gave\u00a0 instructions\u00a0 to chop up the tax collectors?<\/p>\n

8. Why should UPP be voted into office since one of their members used derogative terms\u00a0 against our Caricom brothers & sisters referring to them as thieves & paupers?<\/p>\n

9. Why should UPP be voted into office since one of their female politician referred to the nation’s elderly as rag tags?<\/p>\n

10. Why should UPP be voted into office since UPP candidates act as dictators at a radio station causing\u00a0 two brilliant bright young\u00a0 men to resign from the said radio station?<\/p>\n

11. Why should UPP be voted into office since many of their stalwarts turn their backs against them and jump the UPP ship?<\/p>\n

12. Why should UPP be voted into office since one of their prominent lawyers was ordered by the court to be relieve of his public position because he was deemed to abrasive?<\/p>\n

13. Why should UPP be voted into office since it is alledge that senior citizen is not paid his rent by a UPP candidate?<\/p>\n

14. Why should UPP be voted into office since a young innocent girl who was pregnant was shot and killed by a UPP candidate?<\/p>\n

15. Why should UPP be voted into office since\u00a0 the country almost collapse under Lovell as Finance minister?<\/p>\n

16. Why should UPP be voted into office since they can’t proposed a proper blueprint to manage & develop the country?<\/p>\n

17. Why should UPP be voted into office since they dropped the standard of the education system during their tenure?<\/p>\n

18. Why should UPP be voted into office when they put the country into the hands of IMF?<\/p>\n

19. Why should UPP be voted into office when they were hoping for a mass of body bags of deceased\u00a0 people during the pandemic?<\/p>\n
