Dear Editor,<\/p>

I am a Canadian businessman living in Antigua for the last 25 years.<\/p>\n

I can’t vote but\u00a0I have been through multiple governments and have lived through the UPP and recent ALP reign.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

I feel it is my responsibility to give you an outsiders look at your current options.\u00a0 I need you to know the UPP is not necessarily better.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

They are not necessarily less corrupt.\u00a0\u00a0But, it is time for a change.\u00a0\u00a0If you let Gaston stay in, he is going to become so powerful it will be the downfall of the country, we cannot let that happen.<\/p>\n

If you are honest with yourself, you can see it is happening.\u00a0\u00a0The longer a party stays in office the more the corruption builds.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

At this point, it is critical that a change is made to keep Antigua and Barbuda the democracy that it is.\u00a0\u00a0Gaston thinks he is God.\u00a0\u00a0He thinks he is above the law.\u00a0\u00a0He thinks he is your \u201cRULER\u201d not your \u201celected official.<\/p>\n

The UPP is not strong, they are not a perfect choice, but they are the ONLY choice.\u00a0\u00a0You can always elect the ALP back in, but for now you MUST elect the UPP to break the corruption cycle.<\/p>

Every time a new government is in there is a \u201choneymoon period\u201d that leads to economic growth and prosperity for the people of Antigua and Barbuda, that lasts for a couple years, before the corruption and greed sets in.<\/p>

VOTE UPP NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE BETTER, VOTE UPP BECAUSE IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE !!<\/p>\n
