Prime Minister Gaston Browne\u2019s tribute to the governance skills and competencies of Asot Michael on December 21st<\/sup>, 2019, exactly three years ago, came more than 18 months after he left the Cabinet of Ministers following an interview with law enforcement officials in London in respect of which he has not been charged with any offense.<\/p>

On Browne\u2019s own admission, he teamed up with the MP for St Peters following the demise of the Antigua Labour Party at the 2004 general election in a \u201csplendid partnership\u201d that revived the ABLP of a period of 10 years.<\/p>\n

He credits Asot Michael for playing a major role in returning the ABLP to government in 2014 and for the outstanding work that earned him the accolade of Caribbean Tourism Minister of the Year 2016.<\/p>
