\u201cAdd seasonings to cover up the taste of bathroom,\u201d says the TikToker\u00a0who goes by Barfly<\/a>\u00a0in his pie-in-the-sky instructional.<\/p>

The TikTok cook specializes in MacGyvering up food in oft kitchen-less hotel rooms:\u00a0grilling steak with an iron<\/a>,\u00a0using a toaster as a miniature chicken griddle<\/a>\u00a0and other hotel hacks like a gastronomic Bear Grylls.<\/p>

In his latest \u2014 and perhaps most questionable \u2014 shortcut, the \u201ciron\u201d chef decides to make pizza in the lavatory in full view of the toilet.<\/p>\n

First, Barfly mixes flour, yeast water and other ingredients on the marble sink counter, using a medicine bottle as a makeshift measuring cup.<\/p>

Next, Snack-gyver douses the dough with Heinz honey mustard and other seasonings to obscure any bathroom odors. After kneading the dough and letting it sit, Barfly rolls it into pizza shape using the hotel\u2019s ice bucket.<\/p>\n

At last, his suite invention is ready to cook, which the hotel hacker accomplishes with a hot plate and pan.<\/p>

\u201cGrease that s\u2013t,\u201d commands Barfly as he heats both sides of the dough in the pan before topping the pie with sauce, cheese and pepperoni.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

At one point, after noticing that the cheese is a bit flaccid, the bidet gourmet crisps the top of it with a \u201c$10 heat gun\u201d he brought along for his hotel stay.<\/p>\n

The clip concludes with Barfly slapping the pizza on the bathroom counter and then gobbling it in the hotel room like a fugitive on the lam.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, TikTok viewers were revolted by the potty pizza. While many admitted that the dish itself looked delicious, they found his choice of kitchen a bit un-pie-genic.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo way that counter is clean,\u201d declared one disgusted observer, while another wrote that the man\u2019s \u201cimmune system gotta be in sports mode.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes officer, this is the video,\u201d quipped one TikTok wit.<\/p>\n

Another snarked, \u201cOk guys calm down. i am sure he wiped off the countertop with that sock he found between the mattress and box spring.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone who works\u00a0at hotels\u00a0is throwing up right now,\u201d said one horrified viewer.<\/p>\n

One alleged chef\u00a0posted a reaction video<\/a>\u00a0to the man\u2019s bathroom opus. He said that while he liked some of Barfly\u2019s improvisations \u2014 such as the medicine bottle \u2014 he didn\u2019t approve of the setting, as hotel bathrooms are \u201ca lot dirtier than you think, especially the sinks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cToilet in the background, not eating whatsoever,\u201d the epicure declared.<\/p>\n

Indeed, hotels aren\u2019t the sanitary bastions they\u2019re billed as.<\/p>\n

A\u00a02020 survey by travel service UpgradedPoints<\/a>\u00a0found that even five-star accommodations are cesspools of microbes, with the average hotel elevator button boasting 737 times more germs than a household toilet seat.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the average hotel door handle had a whopping 918 times more bugs than a household toilet seat, per the study.<\/p>\n

Then again, potty pizza still might be preferable to the\u00a0food at some hotels<\/a>, where hygiene standards are apparently less than stellar.<\/p>\n
