\nreleased its first contribution to the 2023 Soca soundtrack entitled \u2018Driftin\u2019.<\/p>

The US-based sons of Trini soil, Keston \u2018De Chancellor\u2019 Harris &amp; Kwasi \u2018KHemSun\u2019 Jones have released the new Groovy Soca track which evokes emotions of love, euphoria and mental freedom.<\/p>\n

Kinetic has released its first contribution to the 2023 Soca soundtrack entitled \u2018Driftin\u2019.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

The new release is a combination of solid instrumentation, melodic delivery and lyrics that
\narouse images of exotic voyages and intimate excursions to tropical destinations with a special travel companion.<\/p>

Regarding the inspiration behind the new song they shared, \u201cIn a sense, it’s freedom. It’s all beautiful emotions metaphorically described in a vessel of love. The plane in the lyrics is the vessel and \u2018to drift\u2019 is to be carefree in a mental state of liberation. The inspiration behind the song was to highlight the joy of total freedom (both mental and physical) with the one you love.\u201d<\/p>

Driftin was written by both Harris and Jones and produced by the famous Badjohn Republic.<\/p>\n

This latest single features vocal contributions from Peter \u2018WildXFire\u2019 Noel who has previously lent his talents to music projects by artistes such as Machel Montano and Lyrikal.<\/p>
