JOHN\u2019S, Antigua and Barbuda \u2013 19th<\/sup>November, 2022\u2026\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Passport\u00a0and Citizenship Division of Antigua and Barbuda on Thursday 17th<\/sup>November 2022 announced that through a Decision of the Cabinet of Antigua and Barbuda, it has extended the\u00a0deadline for the mandatory recall\u00a0period for all Antigua and Barbuda Machine Readable Passports\u00a0to 31st<\/sup>\u00a0December 2023.<\/p>

The decision was taken in light of the continuing impact of global events on the ability of citizens here and abroad to meet the previous deadline of 31 December 2022.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

All citizens of Antigua and Barbuda with a Machine-Readable passport\u00a0are advised that the document now becomes invalid on 1st<\/sup>\u00a0January 2024.<\/p>\n

Only ePassports\u00a0will be valid for travel as of 1st<\/sup>\u00a0January 2024.<\/p>

The recall of all Machine-Readable passports will facilitate the use of only the new Antigua and Barbuda ePassport introduced in April 2017.<\/p>\n

Application forms for the ePassports\u00a0are available at the\u00a0Passport\u00a0Office, Queen Elizabeth Highway, the Antigua and Barbuda Missions in the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom\u00a0 or from the government\u2019s website at\u00a0www.ab.gov.ag<\/a>.<\/p>
