It was revealed this week that the Cabinet has agreed to commence a program in Her Majesty\u2019s Prison intended to build literacy among inmates.<\/p>

The Judges and Magistrates have noted that many of the youth confined to prison by them are unable to read and write effectively according to the government.<\/p>\n

The literacy challenge may be a significant contributor to anti-social behaviour, members of the judiciary believe.<\/p>

“That being the case, the Cabinet will set-aside both human and financial resources to address the challenge within the prison,” according to the government.<\/p>
