Following a successful screening held on Sunday 3rd June at the Multipurpose Cultural & exhibition Center, twenty (20) young ladies<\/strong> were selected to compete for the title of Miss Antigua Barbuda 2018\/2019.<\/p>

 <\/p>\n

Included in this year\u2019s judging panel were Mrs. Patsy Richards, Queen of Carnival 1968, Mrs. Angella De Gannes, Queen of Carnival 1960, Mr. Calvin Southwell (Calvin S) & Mr. Andr\u00e9 George along with statistician, Ms. Yolanda Goodwin representing the\u00a0Antigua Barbuda Festival Commission.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also present at the screening, were, Minister with responsibility for Carnival, The Hon. Daryll Matthew, Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission, Mr. Maurice Merchant, members of the Antigua Barbuda Festivals Commission, and reigning Queen Ayana Dorsette.<\/p>

Chairperson of the Queens committee, Calvin Southwell who has a wealth of experience in the beauty and fashion industry promises what he deems as a \u201cmust-see\u201d production, under the theme: Celebrating the Modern Woman\u2026 Projecting to the Pinnacle of Beauty<\/strong>.<\/p>
