United Progressive Party (UPP) Candidate for St. Mary\u2019s South, Mr. Kelvin \u201cShugy” Simon has announced that on Saturday October 29th from 2pm – 7pm, the \u2018Small Business Pull-Up\u2019 will venture through the village of Bolans.<\/p>

This special edition installment will be a continuation of last weekend\u2019s mobile gathering that was aborted by police, following an altercation with a group of ABLP supporters.<\/p>\n

Simon indicates that all small enterprises that were previously scheduled on the St. Mary\u2019s South \u2018Small Business Pull-Up\u2019 will be included on this weekend\u2019s route.<\/p>

\u201cWe believe that despite last weekend\u2019s mishap, small businesses in Bolans should not be left out.\u00a0 They deserve our support and we are committed to helping them generate more sales and exposure. We want to continue to highlight the important role that these small businesses play in the social and economic development of our community,\u201d said Simon<\/p>

Since late August, the UPP \u2018Small Biz Pull-Up\u2019 has provided ongoing support to small enterprises throughout various communities.\u00a0 Simon, an entrepreneur and well known community organizer, will lead this weekend\u2019s caravan of patrons and UPP supporters.<\/p>\n

Political Leader of the UPP, Harold Lovell feels that it is important for the Party to return to Bolans to complete its original mission of supporting small businesses and to share the UPP\u2019s Small Business Agenda for Development and Growth, with patrons and owners of these establishments.<\/p>
