The Prices and Consumer Affairs Division advises consumers of a product recall on <\/span>Pine-Sol\u00ae Scented Multi-Surface Cleaner<\/span>s. <\/span><\/p>

\n<\/span>The recalled products may contain bacteria, including\u00a0<\/span>Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/span><\/em>, an environmental organism found widely in soil and water.<\/span><\/p>

According to the manufacturer, <\/span>t<\/span>his recall involves Pine-Sol Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, and Lemon Fresh scents, CloroxPro Pine-Sol All Purpose Cleaners, in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, Lemon Fresh, and Orange Energy scents, and Clorox Professional Pine-Sol Lemon Fresh Cleaners, with date codes beginning with the prefix \u201cA4\u201d and followed by a five-digit number less than 22249. <\/span><\/p>\n

The products are sold in bottles of 28, 48, 60, 100, 144, and 175 fluid ounces.\u00a0<\/span>Original Pine-Sol\u00ae (Pine scent) is not included in this recall.<\/p>

To date, testing has identified bacteria in certain <\/span>of these <\/span>recalled products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022.<\/span> The Division is advising consumers <\/span>who <\/span>may have <\/span>purchased the<\/span>se<\/span>product<\/span>s<\/span> to discontinue use<\/span> and<\/span> return <\/span>them<\/span> to <\/span>the place of purchase for a full refund. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to the manufacturer,<\/span> t<\/span>he bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or a break in the skin. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by bacteria.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
