Two men received severe sentences\u00a0Monday<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0for killing Clinton Mannix in 2009.<\/span><\/p>

George Thomas was sentenced to life and will not be eligible for early release until he has served at least 30 years behind bars.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His accomplice, Joel Seraphine was sentenced to 25 years and must serve a minimum of 20 years before he is considered for early release.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The court heard, Thomas ordered the execution of Clinton Mannix after a cocaine deal had gone awry in November 2009.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The victim was taken to Dove Trail near Yepton Beach and a third suspect, Andre Nibbs was ordered to shoot him.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When Nibbs refused, Seraphine took the gun and shot Mannix, whose bullet ridden body was later found on the trail.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seraphine pleaded guilty to murder March this year and Thomas was found guilty of murder by a jury a week later.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nibbs who pleaded guilty to manslaughter was sentenced to seven years in prison back in 2013.<\/span><\/p>
