A woman was recently convicted in St John\u2019s Magistrates\u2019 Court on a number of charges, including impersonating a law-enforcement officer.<\/p>

Last week, Odella Limerick appeared before Magistrate Conliffe Clarke and pleaded guilty to receiving and to impersonating a police officer.<\/p>\n

Limerick was convicted and fined a total of $4,000 \u2013 $3,000 on the receiving charge and $1,000 for the impersonation \u2013 and was ordered to pay $1,500 forthwith.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The balance is to be paid before November 15 or, in default, she\u00a0will spend four months at Her Majesty\u2019s Prison on the\u00a0impersonation charge and six months for receiving. The sentences would be served concurrently.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Tony Henry will make his first appearance in the District B All Saints Magistrate\u2019s Court this morning, September 12, before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel-Edwards.<\/p>\n

After capturing the man, who had fled the scene of a stop-and-search exercise, the Police charged him with unlawful possession of a firearm; possession of eight 9 mm rounds of ammunition; and possession of 357 grammes of cannabis.<\/p>

Henry, 30, of Collins, had escaped from law enforcers on\u00a0Sunday, September 4, during an exercise undertaken in John Hughes. However, he was apprehended in Old Road on Thursday, September 8.<\/p>\n
