representatives of\u00a0regional and professional\u00a0policing organizations\u00a0to United\u00a0Nations\u00a0Headquarters\u00a0from 31 August to 1 September 2022 to engage on strengthening Police\u00a0require\u00a0to\u00a0achieve\u00a0their\u00a0diverse and complex\u00a0mandated tasks, including protecting civilians, rebuilding national police services,\u00a0preventing crime\u00a0and United\u00a0Nations\u00a0Police Division\u2019s role as a system-wide service provider and focal point for United Nations policing and other law enforcement matters;<\/li>\n<li>reinforce ongoing efforts to enhance\u00a0the\u00a0performance of United\u00a0Nations\u00a0Police by\u00a0strengthening\u00a0capacities, including the launch of the Voluntary Compact on Advancing Gender Parity within\u00a0the\u00a0United Nations Police; and<\/li>\n<li>integrate United\u00a0Nations\u00a0policing priorities in international peace and security processes, discussions and\u00a0fora.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>UNCOPS\u00a02022 will\u00a0also\u00a0offer\u00a0a unique opportunity\u00a0for\u00a0the world\u2019s police executives and United Nations leadership to\u00a0engage in discussions on\u00a0how\u00a0United\u00a0Nations\u00a0policing\u00a0and national policing\u00a0mutually reinforce one another\u00a0when addressing current and emerging\u00a0global
