Meet Jaycees Queen Show Crown Contender\u2026Miss Trinidad and Tobago \u2013 Chronna Khann<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Chronna Khan was born in the beautiful twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, in the year 2000 and has spent her life in Wallerfield, Arima.<\/p>\n

She is the only child of a hardworking entrepreneurial African mother and East Indian father.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Due to her early years spent learning Spanish and watching Latin cartoons, her love for the Latino culture and its people grew immensely allowing her to now volunteer at the La Casita Home for Venezuelan immigrants, dedicating her time to assisting the children of immigrants to transition into Trinidad\u2019s education system.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

During Chronna\u2019s time at secondary school, she was able to demonstrate and cultivate her natural leadership abilities by fulfilling her roles as the President of the Young leaders Club, Treasurer of the Interact Club (sponsored by the Rotary club), the Vice President of the BAHSE Student council, and an active member of the Environmental Club.<\/p>\n

Apart from being extremely involved in school pride activities such as World Culture Day and Sports Day, Chronna served her school body as a prefect in both Sixth form and Lower secondary school. Through those roles and the accompanying experiences, she really learnt the meaning of servant leadership and how to effectively foster leadership in others while simultaneously balancing and managing responsibilities.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Whilst carrying out her duties, Chronna also developed a love for theatre and the arts.<\/p>\n

She was able to explore this interest further during her time in sixth form where she served as a stage manager in the Milwaz production theatre group and was able to visit the American Shakespeare Centre\u2019s Blackfriars Playhouse in Virginia, USA.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Chronna is a holder of a Level 5 Diploma in Business Management from the Association of Business Executives (ABE) and is currently completing her final year bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration with the University of Hertfordshire.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

She is very independent, self-motivated and has a passion for traveling, experiencing different cultures, modelling, and fitness. She finds personal strength and guidance in wisdom-filled conversations that she holds with her mother and aunt, as well as through the time she spent reading the Word of God.<\/p>\n

Her personal motto, Philippians 4:6 reads \u201cBe anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God\u201d. It is through the power of these words that Chronna can conquer adversity, navigate her journey of self-discovery, and confront her failures.<\/p>\n
