Canadian officials will be on island for four days, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 19 until July 22, to carry out biometric processing for persons wishing to obtain Canadian visas.<\/p>

As part of the visa-application process, Antigua and Barbuda nationals must provide biometric information (including fingerprints and a photo) when applying for a visitor\u2019s visa, study, work, temporary-residence permit, or for permanent residence.<\/p>\n

Persons planning on travelling to Canada for study, business, tourism, family reunions or any other reason should have completed their online visa application already in order to take advantage of this week\u2019s opportunity.<\/p>

The biometrics collection will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on all four days at the Siboney Beach Club.<\/p>

All applicants are required to bring along their biometrics instruction letter to their appointment.<\/p>\n

Officials say they will not be collecting applications or biometric information from applicants who have not received this letter.<\/p>

Meanwhile, the appointment process had to be closed early, since the biometric processing for visa applications in this country reached its\u00a0maximum limit of scheduled appointments.<\/p>\n
