Would you like a side of saliva with those fries?<\/p>

Restaurant worker Mitchell Todd shared a very \u201cuncomfortable\u201d experience they had while working in the food service industry in a\u00a0two-part TikTok<\/a>\u00a0they posted recently.<\/p>\n

Todd \u2014 who uses they\/them pronouns\u2013 revealed that their boss allegedly instructed them to spit in a customer\u2019s food during their \u201ccraziest day at work.\u201d<\/p>

In the clip, viewed over 1.9 million times, Todd said they had to go to an unpopulated area on the street to tell the story as they were afraid someone would overhear it due to its chaoticness.<\/p>

Todd explained that the day started out normal like any other, and how they were the only server on staff.<\/p>\n

They were doing several different jobs until a man, whom Todd called \u201creally freaking cute\u201d and \u201cextremely attractive,\u201d walked in.<\/p>

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t say I\u2019m being overly flirty, but I\u2019m putting a little extra sugar on it,\u201d they said. \u201cI really [got] the vibe [that] he\u2019s responding well to my extra sugar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd then took the guy\u2019s order and later brought it over to the table once it had been cooked. However, the customer didn\u2019t eat his meal because he had a \u201cweird request.\u201d<\/p>

The demand?<\/p>

\u201cI was wondering if you could spit in my food. I would really, really love that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd was so shocked that they thought they didn\u2019t hear the man correctly. \u201cThere\u2019s zero doubt in my mind that was a mistake,\u201d Todd noted.<\/p>\n

But the customer persisted and asked again. Todd told the buyer that he \u201cwould probably get fired, as my manager would probably not be OK with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because Todd\u2019s manager \u201cvalues the customer experience over anything else,\u201d the employer told Todd to make like Nike and \u201cjust do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
