\u201cIt went on for about 45 minutes,\u201d said one person who saw the video and requested anonymity. \u201cShe was walking around naked, she got dressed, she\u2019s in and out of the Zoom, he was in the bed, he whipped it out, she started going to work. \u2026 Someone on the Zoom saw and called her and was like, \u2018WTF are you doing? You\u2019re on camera.\u2019 She freaked out.<\/p>

\u201cIt was a Zoom for a bat mitzvah. Most people were not on camera except like, the old bubbes \u2026 who don\u2019t know how to turn off their camera, and these two people. So the boxes were pretty big and everyone could see who was on camera.\u201d<\/p>\n

The unnamed couple appears to have fallen victim to the uniquely pandemic-era problem of accidentally leaving your Zoom camera on before engaging in private behavior \u2014\u00a0known informally online as \u201cpulling a Toobin.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0The incident is named for CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin who began pleasuring himself on a live Zoom call with staff for the New Yorker in October 2020.\u00a0The magazine fired him<\/a>, but CNN allowed him to\u00a0return to the air<\/a>\u00a0after a brief suspension.<\/p>

Sex on shabbat is\u00a0specifically encouraged<\/a>\u00a0in the Talmud and some consider it to be a mitzvah \u2014 or good deed.<\/p>\n

While synagogue grandees have moved to lock up the story and keep it from spreading, lurid still images of the couple swiftly began circulating online.<\/p>
