It is always advisable for one to pay closer attention to messages sent via phone, email, social media, or malicious websites from individuals posing as credible organizations in an attempt to solicit monetary assistance; especially when it comes to impersonating government officials and other agencies.<\/p>\n

The public must also be aware of other cybercrimes such as phishing scams; where cybercriminals lure one to click on links or download attachments that either prompt you to divulge personal and financial information or install malicious software on your device, which gives them access to sensitive material from accounts, credit cards, or security codes.<\/p>
