Last Thursday on their weekly show \ud835\ude47\ud835\ude44\ud835\ude46\ud835\ude46\ud835\ude47\ud835\ude40 \ud835\ude3d\ud835\ude54\ud835\ude4f\ud835\ude40 \ud835\ude44\ud835\ude3f\ud835\ude40\ud835\ude3c\ud835\ude4e, three young Antiguan and Barbudan entrepreneurs shared their experiences about how they have harnessed their skills and talents to start their own business. – Shayna Cort and Chaz Samuel are fitness enthusiasts whose mantra during their daily workouts has evolved into a clothing line called \u201cNo Days Off.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

– Danielle Jarvis, dissatisfied with many store bought skin products, began experimenting with her own line of therapies using all natural ingredients and \u201cBashful Body Care<\/em>\u201d was born.<\/p>

\u201cSFCG believes that financial literacy is the key to understanding your business and unlocking further potential for growth. Business owners don\u2019t need to be accountants to be financially literate, but they do need to understand enough to comprehend the inner workings of their businesses,\u201d said Megan Samuel-Fields, CEO of SFCG.<\/p>\n

The young entrepreneurs identified promotional partnerships, quality control and the ability the scale their business, as the main challenges that they face as they contemplate making the investment in future expansion.<\/p>

SFCG will continue the focus on Youthpreneurship by staging the Virtual Youth Opportunities, Lessons and Outcomes (YOLO) Summit<\/strong> on June 5, 2022. The theme of this event is Maximizing Opportunities NOW to Empower the Youth (MONEY).<\/em>\u00a0 It will be geared towards self-discovery, learning, leadership building and networking.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Virtual YOLO Summit will feature 15 sessions and 20 dynamic local, regional and international speakers. An Innovative Incubator, Ideas Lab<\/em> and Networking Lounge<\/em>, are among the fun and interactive attractions that will inspire the youth to save, invest, select a career path, or pursue entrepreneurship opportunities.<\/p>
