In a thrilling finish, with a time differential of 84 milliseconds across the podium, Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s Ethan Stubbs-Green brought home a bronze medal last night in the 13-14 age group 200 metre freestyle with a time of 2:01.95.<\/p>

Tivon Benjamin, representing in the 200 metre freestyle, attained a personal best in his impressive fifth place finals finish of the boys 13-14 age group.<\/p>\n

This was alongside Davina Barton, who improved on her preliminary performance with a finishing time of 2:25.55 in the girls 11-12 years 200 metre freestyle race.<\/p>

Reuben Edwards sailed to a new personal best in the 200 metre freestyle (11-12 boys age group) with a future qualifying time of 2:25.17.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This represents a second day of triumph for Antiguan and Barbudan swimmers, who have demonstrated their will to succeed following a first day caravan of personal best and finals placements.<\/p>\n

These young athletes have consistently improved their personal records and demonstrated the huge impact of their personal discipline and strength.<\/p>

ABSF President Derek Marshall is passionate about the success of our young athletes, saying, \u201cOn the second day, we got to see perseverance and excellent results. I am extremely proud of our swimmers continued high performance and look forward to the next two days. The coaches, team manager, and chaperones are working extremely hard for these athletes over in Barbados, and we are all rooting for them and sending our best wishes from home-side.\u201d<\/p>\n
