A driver whose traffic infraction on an ABS TV live broadcast went viral Wednesday can\u2019t drive his vehicle for the next seven days.<\/p>

Keano Anthony pleaded guilty to dangerous driving before Magistrate Dexter Wason in St. John\u2019s Magistrate\u2019s court this morning.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Anthony\u2019s traffic infraction spread widely on social media after ABS cameras captured him speeding through the red-light at the junction at Factory and American Roads.<\/p>

It happened during Senior Sergeant Kenny Mcburnie\u2019s Traffic Watch segment on Antigua Barbuda Today.<\/p>

Ironically, the traffic officer was at the time cautioning motorists to prepare to stop when they see the amber light.<\/p>\n

Anthony sped through the light and kept going despite officer Mcburnie beckoning for him to stop.<\/p>

The Magistrate also ordered the motorist to pay a fine in addition to his one-week licence suspension.\u00a0\u2014 State Media, ABS<\/em><\/p>\n
