This serves as notice to allow for the safety of road users during construction works associated with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project <\/strong>which is a grant being provided by the United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund (UKCIF).<\/p>\n

The two affected roads will remain open during the installation of utility works.<\/strong><\/p>

Monday\u00a016th <\/sup>April \u2013\u00a0Friday\u00a020th<\/sup> <\/u><\/strong>April 2018<\/u><\/strong>:<\/strong> Reduced width Lanes – Friars Hill Road\u2013<\/strong>: Working on Friars Hill Road on the eastern side from Caribbean Cinemas to Woods Pond.<\/strong> Intend to work concurrently with APUA electrical Department on the western side of the road from the Digicel Store to the junction of Dickenson Bay Street <\/strong>(Back Street).<\/p>

Road users are urged to exercise extreme caution when traversing in the construction site. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Monday to Friday:\u00a0 7:00am to 5:30pm | Saturday: 7:00am to 1:00pm <\/strong><\/p>

Meantime:<\/strong> Monday\u00a016th <\/sup>April \u2013\u00a0Friday\u00a020th<\/sup> <\/u><\/strong>April, 2018.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Utility works will continue on Sir. George Water Highway<\/strong> and will enter phase two <\/strong>(2) with the installation of water mains: from the Welcome\/Goodbye road arch to the RUBIS Gas Station formally known as Dee\u2019s Service Station and Food Mart.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Intent: <\/strong>Work from the Solar Energy Farm to the Service station from midweek (Wednesday)<\/strong> where work will enter phase two (2)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Warning signs will be visible for all road users who are being asked to proceed with caution for the duration of the road works. There will be workers in high visibility reflective gear at the road closure and flag people will be there to direct traffic. Local access will be maintained for road users who are residents and individuals conducting business at the business places in the area of the road works.<\/p>\n

No parking will be allowed along main roads or side roads in the area.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n
