The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise that the AstraZeneca vaccine will not be available at any of the vaccination sites or health clinics on Tuesday 1st February 2022.<\/p>

 <\/p>\n

Citizens and residents can however continue to receive the Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson and the Sinopharm vaccines at the Villa Polyclinic, the Multipurpose Cultural and Exhibition center or the major health centers on Mondays through to Thursdays from 9am to 5pm and on Fridays from 9am to 3pm.<\/p>

The Ministry will resume the administration of the AstraZeneca on Wednesday 3rd February 2022.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, please be advised that although the Glansville Polyclinic will begin operating as of Tuesday 1st February, the vaccines will be available from Wednesday 3rd February 2022 at this site.<\/p>\n

Vaccination continues to be one of the most effective measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic and persons are therefore urged to get fully vaccinated and get their boosters utilizing the vaccines that are readily available on island.<\/p>

In addition to becoming vaccinated, we implore you to adhere to the public health measures to prevent and control the disease. These include physical and social distancing, using face masks correctly and practicing hand hygiene and cough etiquette.<\/p>\n
