As if contracting COVID wasn\u2019t bad enough, a dismayed man now claims that he\u2019s lost a whopping 1.5 inches from the length of his penis as a lingering result of the vile virus.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy penis has shrunk,\u201d lamented the griping guy in a letter to the \u201cHow To Do It\u201d podcast this week.<\/p>

\u201cI\u2019m a heterosexual man in my 30s,\u201d he said, anonymously \u2014 only referring to himself as \u201ccoming up short.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cIn July of last year, I contracted COVID and was very sick. When I got out of the hospital, I had some erectile dysfunction issues,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The purportedly once-well-endowed man went on to explain that prior to his diagnosis, he boasted an \u201cabove average\u201d-sized tool.<\/p>

But, much to his chagrin, his formerly impressive privates have since lost their luster.<\/p>\n

\u201c[The erectile dysfunction] gradually got better with some medical attention, but I seemed to be left with a lasting problem,\u201d he confessed. \u201cBefore I got sick [my penis] was above average. Not huge, but definitely bigger than normal. Now I\u2019ve lost about an inch and a half and become decidedly less than average.\u201d<\/p>

He claimed that a medical adviser had attributed his pecker problems to vascular damage caused by COVID, and was warned that the impairment was likely permanent.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\u201cIt shouldn\u2019t really matter,\u201d the man wrote. \u201cBut it has had a profound impact on my self-confidence and my abilities in bed. I know you can\u2019t give me back my missing length and girth, but I was wondering if you could give me any advice on what to do now.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to the dude\u2019s desperate plea for penis help, Dr. Charles Welliver \u2014 a urologist and Director of Men\u2019s Health at Albany Medical College, NY \u2014 confirmed the rare, but real havoc COVID can wreak on a man\u2019s unmentionables.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can connect these dots,\u201d the physician told Slate of the virus\u2019 correlation to ding-a-ling disorders.<\/p>\n

\u201cCOVID [causes] a mass of respiratory symptoms that leads to a lot of the deaths,\u201d he said. \u201cBut there\u2019s also pretty significant vascular issues that occur with guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

The doctor went on to cite studies that have shown cases of men who\u2019ve suffered from priapism \u2014 the persistent erection prompted sans sexual arousal \u2014 and erectile dysfunction (ED) after contracting COVID.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen guys get ED, they get a lack of erections for a while, and when that happens they actually do get some shrinkage,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

And his commentary on miniaturized members was backed by Dr. Ashley Winter, a urologist in Oregon, who insisted: \u201cCOVID d \u2013 \u2013 k is a real thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main reason that we think this occurs is something what we call endothelial dysfunction,\u201d she explained. \u201cThat\u2019s basically the cells that line your blood vessels \u2026 and they\u2019re really important for the function of many different organs.\u201d<\/p>\n

The health care pro went on to note that when COVID infects those vital cells, it can take a toll on a number of organs.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd because the erection is a blood flow-event \u2026 When those blood vessels are affected, you can get the erectile dysfunction,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

However, despite the prognosis \u201ccoming up short\u201d received from his doom-and-gloom doctor, both urologists agreed that rehabilitative practices like doing \u201cpenis push-ups\u201d or purchasing a \u201cpenis vacuum,\u201d could restore length over time.<\/p>\n

\u201cA typical regimen would be starting something like Viagra or Cialis to improve blood flow,\u201d advised Winter. \u201cAnother thing would be to buy a penis vacuum device and do penis exercise with it or penis push-ups.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also suggested stretching the penis with a traction device named RestoreX, which she says has reportedly elongated shortened wee-wees by 1 to 2 centimeters with consistent use.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are easy things you can do at home to either prevent shortening or actually get back length that you\u2019ve lost,\u201d she assured.<\/p>\n

So, to make a long story short, just hang in there guys. There\u2019s hope.<\/p>\n
