The police officer whose home was searched today has been suspended based on reports.<\/p>

Assistant Superintendent of Police Ray John of the Royal Antigua and Barbuda Police Force is said to be part of investigations in connection with the Passport fraud matter that unfolded in St. Vincent.<\/p>\n

Several bags of items were removed from the officer’s home this morning as investigations continued.<\/p>

According to reports, some members of St Vincent’s Police Force are now on the island to assist our officers in the investigation.<\/p>

As a result of investigations being conducted by members of the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda and other Law Enforcement Agencies surrounding allegations of fraudulent Antigua and Barbuda Passports being printed in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Assistant Superintendent of Police Ray John has been suspended from active duties, due to his alleged involvement in the matter.<\/p>

Members of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force has indicated an interest in coming to Antigua to assist in carrying out further investigations into the matter. The general public is also advised that this is the initial stage of the investigation and the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda will keep you up to date as to the progress of the investigations.<\/p>\n
