Regrettably, one of the students in your child’s class, Grade 5 Scotland, has tested positive for Covid-19.<\/p>\n

The child reported for school today and spent the day among his class members. Sunnyside will be following the protocols mandated by the Ministry of Education and The Ministry of Health.<\/p>

We have therefore contacted the Director of Education and the Chief Medical Officer and was advised to quarantine the teacher and the class from Wednesday 5 January, 2022 to Tuesday 18th January 2022, which is a period of 14 days.<\/p>

During this period, your child will be instructed via Google classroom.<\/p>\n

Please continue to encourage your child to observe all protocols and rules established by the school.<\/p>
