It has been another extremely challenging year for all, especially those who travel to and from our shores. But we continue to be optimistic that we can look forward to better days as\u00a0we learn to navigate life in a post-covid era.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

COVID-19 and its variants continue to be be very disruptive for many countries, but we are proud of our vaccination and\u00a0mitigation efforts<\/a>\u00a0here on our small island.\u00a0 We have been able to maintain a steady course and are now no longer under a State of Emergency, with curfews being removed starting today.<\/p>

We would like to acknowledge our steadfast supporters \u2013 the government of Antigua & Barbuda, sponsors,\u00a0Friends of ASW<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the businesses who contributed to our on-going\u00a0fundraising auction\u00a0<\/a>along with\u00a0the enthusiastic individuals who participated by bidding on\u00a0items and experiences<\/a>.<\/p>

Their combined efforts have ensured that our small team here is able to maintain the operation and keep the proverbial lights on. The proceeds from our recent auction will allow us to solider forward\u00a0until entry fees start to be processed.\u00a0 We are grateful for everyones support and we are happy to say what we are closing out the year with\u00a063 boats entered\u00a0<\/a>to race with us from April 30 \u2013 May 6\u00a02022.<\/p>\n

We must also\u00a0remind all entrants that the\u00a0discounted rate\u00a0for entry fees is still available and scheduled\u00a0to increase on January 3rd, 2022. If\u00a0you have entered and have not yet paid,\u00a0don\u2019t delay to pay<\/a>!<\/p>
