The Antigua and Barbuda Customs and Excise Division is once again mourning the loss of one of its faithful employees.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

We can confirm with a sad and heavy heart this morning the tragic death of a colleague and friend, Zorina Benjamin.<\/p>\n

Officer Benjamin was a committed and dedicated member of our team for the past 11 years.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/div>\n

Her warm and gracious smile and friendly personality left a lasting impression on everyone with whom she came in contact.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

This has been a tough and bitter season for all of us. It was only mere weeks ago that we were left reeling with the shocking news of the demise of another employee, Margaret \u2018Maggie\u2019 Harris.<\/p>\n

We welcome the news that a suspect is in the custody of the Police and he is due to be charged today. The police have also confirmed that the homicide, based on their investigations so far, was purely a domestic matter and not related to any Customs matter.<\/p>

In the meantime, we continue to pray for Benjamin\u2019s family and friends who are dealing with the painful circumstances of her untimely death and lean on each other for support in getting through these tough and challenging times.<\/p>\n

Our heartfelt condolences go out to all who have been personally hurt by her loss.<\/p>
