Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Dr. Terri-Ann Joseph, the acting CMO, have concluded that the Government\u2019s mandates were justified in order to achieve herd immunity in schools, in the private sector, and among public employees.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the decision was taken that all public sector workers, whether vaccinated or not, are to return to work on December 1.<\/p>

Those employees who remain unvaccinated by that date will be subjected to COVID-19 testing every two weeks, though at no cost to them.<\/p>

In the meantime, banks and other financial institutions that have achieved community immunity \u2014 or 80 per cent inoculation within their organizations \u2014 will be permitted to start testing of their unvaccinated employees, beginning December 1, the Cabinet says.<\/p>\n
