Tuesday morning, November 16, at the Ministry of Education headquarters, parents, teachers and students showed up to support the efforts of the United Progressive Party (UPP) Candidate for St. John\u2019s City South, Franz deFreitas.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

DeFreitas, with short preparation, mounted the picket to protest the current state of education. This includes the lack of electronic devices; poor Internet access for students being taught via the Google Classroom platform; the vaccination mandate; and even the failed E-book initiative.<\/p>\n

On the picket line today, deFreitas spoke with our \u00a0Ava \u201cSassy\u201d Charles-McKenzie, host of the \u201cGood Morning Sass\u00a0Show.\u201d<\/p>
