As part of their second annual Liberty Latin America Mission Week 2021 (#LLAMissionWeek2021<\/strong>) volunteer initiative, the employees of Flow Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s family of employees will offer food and care packages to local charity groups in an effort to provide relief to families in the community that have been adversely affected by the economic fallout of the pandemic. \u201cMission Week\u201d is an annually volunteer initiative which encourages Flow employees to contribute their time, energy, and resources to positively impact the communities that they serve.\u00a0 Employees of LLA, including Flow A&B will celebrate Mission Week from November 15-19, 2021.<\/p>

Additionally Flow, under the umbrella of the Cable & Wireless Charitable Foundation<\/a> (CWCF), a nonprofit organization that serves as C&W Communications’ corporate social responsibility arm, will donate seventy-five (75)<\/strong> tablets<\/strong> to local schools across Antigua for students to have greater access to the digital world and to assist in furthering their education. C&W Communications, the\u00a0operator of the Flow brands in the Caribbean, set up the\u00a0Foundation to support charitable and community causes in the company’s markets.<\/p>\n

Michael Coakley, VP, Head of Communications, Liberty Latin America, part of C&W Communications, said, “Giving back to the communities where we live, and work has always been integral to our business. Through our companywide Mission Week initiative, we encourage our nearly 12,000 employees across Latin America and the Caribbean to volunteer and make a positive impact in the areas of learning, environment, access, and disaster relief. Collectively, we aim to enable progress and build more resilient communities in the region through education, connectivity, and access to our digital world.”<\/p>

For Mission Week 2021, we hope to use our resources to help those who are in need. Right now, there are many people within our community who are struggling due to the impacts of Covid-19, so we are encouraging all our team members to contribute and volunteer their time, and resources to our donation drive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Flow\u2019s Donation Drive takes place from November 2nd \u2013 18th and the contributions will be distributed to those in need through small groups including the Helping Hands Girls Club. The groups have identified persons from all walks of life including babies, toddlers, homeless persons, and single mothers who will benefit from this drive.<\/p>

Flow Antigua and Barbuda will again this year recreate the enormously successful \u201cGrow it and give it; care it and share it” initiative using its Community Garden. This noble initiative has longevity beyond mission week as the staff donate all the produce which are organically grown in its community garden to charity programs such as The Antigua Soup Kitchen which feeds the homeless.<\/p>\n
